Personal data
What data is collected?
The contact and booking enquiry form only sends the information the visitor types in:
- first and last name;
- email address;
- phone number;
- requested arrival and departure dates;
- number of guests and preferred accommodation;
- free-text message.
Why, and for how long?
This data is used solely to answer the enquiry and to manage the booking that follows. It is never sold, rented or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes. It is kept only as long as needed to process the enquiry and is then deleted.
Legal basis
Processing is based on the visitor’s consent: the checkbox in the form must be ticked before anything is sent. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, with no effect on exchanges already made.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete the information held about you. To exercise these rights, write to pensionariitere.huahine@gmail.com or call the pension. A reply will be sent as soon as possible.
In French Polynesia, the authority responsible for personal data protection is the Commission polynésienne de l’informatique et des libertés (CPIL), where you may also lodge a complaint.

Cookies
The site sets no tracking or advertising cookies during an ordinary visit. No consent banner is therefore needed.
- Google Maps: the map is only loaded after the visitor clicks (“click to load”). Until that click, Google sets no third-party script or cookie. Once the map is loaded, Google’s own privacy policy applies.
- Analytics: if a cookieless analytics tool (Plausible) is enabled through the
PUBLIC_PLAUSIBLE_DOMAINvariable, it sets no cookie and does not identify visitors individually.
