Getting here
How do I get from Huahine airport to the pension?
We provide return transfers between Huahine airport and the pension for 1,500 XPF per person. Give us your flight number and we will meet you on arrival.
Is the pension close to Fare town centre and the beach?
Yes. The pension is 500 m from Fare town centre, about a 10-minute walk, in the direction of the airport. The white-sand beach is 200 m as the bird flies, roughly a 5-minute walk.
The accommodation
How many people can you accommodate?
The pension has 5 units: 3 bungalows and 2 rooms. The rate covers 1 or 2 people, and one extra person can be accommodated for 2,000 XPF per night: each unit therefore sleeps up to 3 people, for a total capacity of up to 16 guests.
Is the accommodation air-conditioned?
Yes. Both the three bungalows and the two rooms are air-conditioned, and air conditioning is included in the rate.
Can we cook on site?
Yes. The bungalows have a kitchenette, and the pension provides a large outdoor kitchen and a big dining table, accessible to all units.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is not included in the room rate. We prepare it for 1,500 XPF per person. Bed and bath linen, access to the shared spaces and Wi-Fi are included.

Is the pool suitable for young children?
Yes. The pool is a shallow 1.15 m deep: a safe place for children to swim and a peaceful moment for parents. Several 6-7 year olds have learned to swim in it.
Are kayaks available?
Yes, kayaks are available for guests at the pension.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome at Pension Ariitere. Simply mention them in your booking enquiry.
Can we rent a bike or a car on site?
Yes. We offer bike rental at 2,000 XPF per day and car rental at 7,000 XPF per day, bookable on site.
Can we book excursions from the pension?
Yes. We can advise you on the island’s activities and book them for you, such as the lagoon tour by outrigger canoe with Huahine Nautique or Poetaina.
Booking and payment
How do I pay for my stay?
A payment link is emailed to you once your booking is confirmed. For the payment methods accepted on site, please contact us directly and we will confirm the options.
Is there a tourist tax?
Yes. The tourist tax is 100 XPF per person, per night. It is a statutory charge passed on to the local authority: it is not income for the pension and is added to the accommodation rate.
Is there a deposit or a cancellation fee?
These conditions are not yet published on the site. Contact us by phone or email and we will set out the deposit and cancellation terms before you book.
